The National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration jointly issued the Medium and Long-Term Plan for the Development of the Hydrogen Energy Industry (2021-2035). It also establishes stage goals: by 2025, basically master core technologies and manufacturing processes, with about 50,000 fuel cell vehicles and renewable hydrogen production of 10-20万吨/year, achieving CO2 emission reduction of 100-200万吨/year. By 2030, form a relatively complete hydrogen energy industry technology innovation system, clean energy hydrogen production and supply system, strongly supporting carbon peak goals. By 2035, form a diverse hydrogen energy application ecosystem with a significant increase in the proportion of renewable hydrogen in terminal energy consumption.
